Pressing In

This will be one of my shorter posts, but a necessary one. Firstly, I would like to state that I will be unavailable for the next seven days, so for those who email or are awaiting calls, I ask for your patience until about October 10th.

We are in a serious time period, that's a given. True that the Lord has given a 'Window of Time' because of His mercy and grace, and the prayers of the righteous; however, we still want to be sure that we are in His will in all things. To me, that means time with Him, as led by the Holy Spirit.

One thing that I would like to clarify. Indeed, I wrote the 'Window of Time' as led of the Lord to state that the asteroid(s) would not hit earth on the 28th or 29th, or would three days of darkness be then, but that does not mean that I am negating prophecies.

Indeed, we are surely instructed not to quench the Holy Spirit or despise prophesying.  We are also exhorted to pray without ceasing and to give thanks to the Lord.

Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings.  [1Thes 5:17-20]
There is plenty of that from naysayers and the lost, the unbelievers.  Rather, my point was that we who have had dreams and visions and a word from the Lord must be careful that we are not moved by fear, but moved by the Holy Spirit - and most certainly pray if ever you are getting "dates" because Jesus (Yeshua) did say that no man knows the day or hour, that His coming would be as a thief in the night. Lord help us all!

To date a prophecy is plain wrong.  The ancient prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit to forewarn those of us in future generations.  Indeed, the Word of God speaks of that which must and shall come, including stars falling from heaven, the sun not giving its light and the moon as red as blood.
It speaks of wars, rumours of wars and much more. See Jesus' (Yeshua) words in Matthew 24.  But we must let our light shine, for we are in this world but not OF this world.  Keep pressing in and clinging to the Lord, making sure we are in His will in all things. Let us pray one for another, including Israel - the land where our Lord walked and the people therein that He promised to save.
We Gentiles are the 'grafted in' branches, but God's word is true. Let us remember His words in Romans 10:1-8; Rom 11:5 and 26; Zechariah 8-14, Isaiah 62, Revelation 7-14 and the books of Deuteronomy 30, Ezekiel 37 and many more references.

For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest He also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness: otherwise you also shall be cut off.

And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. [Rom 11:21-25]

Like many of you, I too have heard that each generation thought the Lord was returning in their time, yes; but each generation did not have the prophecies fulfilled and being fulfilled as we today are seeing.  Let us indeed keep watching and praying, and waiting on the Lord to see what He would have us each personally to do.
Plus, I do not say this to be cruel, not at all, but please do be careful who you follow, in case you are led in a dangerous direction (yes, that includes me). Let us follow the Lord and be led of His precious Holy Spirit. He will let us know who to listen to and to heed, granting us discernment.  He is ever faithful!

If any of you are so led to pray for me over the next week, it would be greatly appreciated. As for me, I too shall be praying for all the Lord puts upon my heart. To God alone be all the praise, honour and glory!  Shalom in Christ, friends and brethren.  Stand fast!  Keep the faith.

for His glory alone
